About Matt…

As a sports fan, it’s all about the final score.

Yet, for Matt, the game has always meant much more than who won. Even as a kid, he was fascinated about how the game was called and reported.

Matt has a passion and enthusiasm for sports media and sports broadcasting. That is evident in everything he does; play-by-play, colour commentary, game analyst, reporter and host.

As a sports media personality, it’s that passion that inspires Matt to explore new and exciting ways to enlighten, inform and entertain sports fans everywhere.

“All Day Breakfast”

What can make a great play or moment in sports even more memorable?

A great call by a sports broadcaster!

While broadcasting Brock Badgers basketball, Matt popularized the phrase “All Day Breakfast.”

He would use this call to recognize a deep three, a big-time dunk or a game changing score.

It became synonymous with his play-by-play call, and quickly spread across Ontario University Athletics.
